About
Photography, to me, is a way of being in the world. A way to expand my inner being and share how I perceive this one life. It’s a practice of attention — of slowing down, staying present, and learning to see past the ordinary into what might otherwise remain invisible.
I’m someone who needs quiet to think and intensity to feel alive. I recharge in solitude, notice subtle shifts in people and rooms, and often intuit long before I can explain it. I’m drawn to beauty that isn’t always obvious — things that carry tension, history, or contradiction. I like to sit with moments until they reveal what they actually are.
Before photography, I spent nineteen years as a circus performer and a couple years as a yoga instructor. That life shaped how I move through the world — how I read bodies, timing, risk, and trust. It taught me discipline and endurance, being with discomfort and surrender. How structure creates freedom, and how presence is everything when you’re inside a moment.
I see photography as part art, part craft. My work reflects both my inner and outer world, informed by a life lived between discipline and freedom, structure and instinct, movement and stillness. Preparation matters to me, as do depth and honesty, but I also leave space for spontaneity — something my husband and co-creator Patrik has taught me over our eleven years together.
Images, at their best, remind us of who we were, who we are and who we might become. If you find yourself drawn to my work, it reflects some aspect in you, waiting to be uncovered.
